Today the presenters discussed words pronounced incorrectly. One that annoys me is the word 'miscievous', mispronounced mischeeveeus, instead of mischievus. Waleed, Peter and Carrie have all been guilty of it. The other irritation is the more and more frequent arttribution of the plural form of a verb after a collective noun; e.g.,' the government are' instead of 'the government is'. One team is Two teams are Why don't our schools teach grammar anymore?
