It started off well enough. But I can not imagine how the Nurse Ratched of this series is connected to Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, apart from them both being Nurses and working in a Psychiatric Hospital. I found as the series went along, the story line became more ludicrous. Good work of make-up and special effects. But I really don't know if I can be bothered watching the 2nd series as it was hard to get through all the episodes of the 1st series. Better things worth watching than this. Average at best.
