They lost me at “NYFD” patches instead of FDNY. Diversity is great but the plot doesn’t make any sense. So Austin Fire couldn’t recruit and rebuild one of their own stations after a tragedy? They need to go outside the department for an officer and firefighters to replace them? No Academy classes coming through the ranks, no young officers at other Austin firehouses to step up? To unrealistic for me.
