The show was funny for its day in the late 50's. Dwayne Hickman was an upcoming star on the series, and Ann B Davis was great as usual in everything she did.

I bought it when it came out in 1959. I am in to big band jazz and love the tv themes of the 50's detective shows. Music For A Private Eye is well done.
