While it's close to the original DBZ story, it falls into the traps of sticking too closely to the source material, tacking on repetitive sidequests to flesh it out. If you are a fan of Dragon Ball Z, or have never seen/read it and wish to discover the story, then this is a decent enough starting point. However, the game has released with a significant number of bugs and performance issues, many of which result in a crash to the PS4 dashboard. As a result, despite being a fan of the source material, I can't rate this too highly, since as a game it's repetitive, has a fair grind, and is technically unstable.
