Tim Severin and a handful of men followed , in the seventies, a map of St. Brendan of Clonferd, (+ 577) who with eleven men in a tiny cowhide covered boat set out from Ireland and crossed the Atlantic in search of Paradise. It is a fascinating story sprinkled with incredible adventures in raging seas. A good book to read if you have a lazy heart; ; it will get a jump-start at times! Mother Karitina
