This movie is dorky. There is never any agreement upon the members of the Mallard family. The movie literally begins with the husband and wife mallard severely disagreeing and it continues throughout the whole movie. The other conflicts and issues within the family like with the son and daughter mallard never get addressed. They happen, and the movie moves on in silence without any moments of apology or confession. I watched it 6 hours ago and I already forgot almost the whole movie already, and am glad I did. Maybe I’m just not into animations like this but its a true brain rotter for sure. I also noticed how the voice actor of the father Mallard would randomly have some kind of British accent in some sentences and in others none at all. Kinda weird.

To keep it short and *sweet* ;) Awesome movie, life-like with a good hint of fantasy in it. Lots of laughs and the vibe was just right. Definitely one of the best movies lately

This has been my favorite animated movie for years now. The adventure never gets old.

I can say the plot is pretty decent, but it's all a bit weird and cringey. The group of 4 girls was too dorky and cringe for me. I understand that this an animated movie for a younger audience, but they acted kinda stupid. I thought the chanting in a circle to perform a ritual was kinda messed up. And if I'm gonna be honest, it looked to me like some for of satanic practice or something, which I don't like. The trailer made it look more humerous instead of super cringey and showed nothing about performing the ritual and the messed up fighting scene between the mother and daughter at the end. Who knows? Maybe they didn't show any of the rituals or weirdly intense scenes for fear that parents might not want their child to see that ridiculousness. I have read another comment at the top, giving this movie a 1 star because of the innappropiate secrets and drawings under her bed which Meilin Lee (the main character) was keeping from her poor mom and I agree with it 100%. The setting was a bit weird, the rituals and honoring ancestors thing made it look Chinese, as well as the main characters names, but all the rest weren't chinese. Was it based in LA? China? San Francisco? maybe New York? Hard to tell.

The trailer made this movie look way better and hilarious than it actually was. A lot of it bored me. There was a couple small funny parts, but like I said, they were all over-exaggerated in the trailer. This movie is apparently a "family film" but it has pretty strong language throughout it, which is probably the why it's PG-13. It's not much of a comedy, and not a really family film either. It's boring.

It was a little bit more boring than I thought it would be... First of all, I feel like the start of it was really entertaining, and worth 5 stars. But after around half way through the movie, it declined and got more boring. It's a good plot and all, but where was Mike the mouse? I wanted to see him in the movie! It was sort of too much for just one big performance on a stage. Good movie, but declined at the end.

When it first came out, I loved it. I still enjoy it everytime it's playing on the TV. The vibe of it was great. I feel like Gru's twin brother, Dru, and his villian father was all a bit too sudden, but it was still great. Feels like less, but 5 years later, I would still recommend watching it. It's fun and entertaining for pretty much any audience.

This movie is just too much, and my least favorite marvel movie so far… It’s pretty much a horror movie to me, it’s dark and scary, with a lot of jump-scares that got me real good. I don’t blame the lady beside me who left the theater after it got scary. I kinda wonder why it’s not rated r. It was too much and by the end (SPOILER ALERT) when Wanda was sucking all the power from America on that stone table, right before she got saved, I was like “YES PLEASE WANDA JUST KILL HER SO THIS CAN SLL BE OVER”. But seriously, it’s wayyy too much😂. Marvel can’t think of anything else so they have to go with this whole multiverse nuke of confusion. I thought it was gonna be a peaceful ending until some lady cut open a portal, dr strange had a third eye and the movie ended. Well, definitely not watching dr strange again😒

Out of all the great Christmas movies out there, this one is probably my favorite, besides not even being a real life movie, just an animation! I watch it a couple times at Christmas time every year since 2018, and it has NEVER gotten old or boring. It's always funny and super entertaining. It's my favorite animation, better than the original.
