Ah, my first game. The smooth artwork of the early mon verse. Finding that blue Pokeball, ever so tucked away. It has moments along the path where the tasks may be too complex and puzzle-like for a child to understand without the collaboration of friends. But these ingredients made it the GREATEST pokemon game. If you don't get the appeal, you probably missed out on this being the first game you played, or close to, to appreciate it in all its 2d glory.
