This was fantastic, totally and utterly entertaining. There was a tonne of great references to pop culture from the last 40 years or so. I am not going to go into the movie, pick it to pieces, because I am sure others have. What I will say however, and this has always been something that makes me appreciate well done movies, and that is, make sure you watch ALL of the CREDITS! You won't regret it.

A genuinely awesome movie. Alita is an amazing role model for young girls who may feel that they aren't attractive because they are fantastic at martial arts, or physical activity. The amount of body shaming in the media is disgusting and they then wonder why there are no decent female role models because anytime one comes up, they are shot down. Alita has depth of emotions, is amazingly well played by Rosa Salazar, whose voice is incredibly gorgeous and mesmerizing. The stunt scenes were spectacular and it has to be one of the best Anime adaptations for live action. I think it has eclipsed a lot of the western adaptations.
