“Only The Brave” is an excellently crafted film. As an FF t2 wildland firefighter, I was really able to appreciate all the details in this movie, from the mannerisms of the crew to the tools and gear seen on set. And this movie is incredibly accurate. I struggled to find any blaring inaccuracies with it and it just made me appreciate it more. Aside from that, the acting and screenplay was excellent, the CGI and cinematography was beautiful, and I found myself being immersed in this story. It’s hard to think about how these were real men who payed the ultimate price for their country, and so I am really able to appreciate the tribute this film is able to pay to the family and friends of the GMHS, and to any other fire crews who have lost brave man and women. 9/10 definitely recommend this movie.
