I love the show and the cast and the story line ! I think it’s the best show l have ever seen! It’s well put together and produced very well! I hope it continues to do well! I also like the fact that Roxanne Dawson is one of not the producer for the show and l know she does a great job job with the show but anyone who is good would won’t to be involved in the show! And the leading lady is well suited to the role and she is a great actress too! The rest of the cast are great too! This is a show that will not bore you at all and it is very different to other shows of this type! I am hooked and when the show does eventually come out as a box set of DVD/Blu Ray, it will be in my collection! I just also like to add that l have read other people’s reviews and some people have taken offence towards Miss Dorma acting skills and character stating they the actress/character hates Mexicans and other races! I’m sorry but those who thinks this have not understood the plot! And the subject of racism has always been a problem in the U.S. as well as any other country! It was just a backwards way of thinking of people of colour or from the country a person comes from! The common issue is lack of understanding and acceptance ! We are all different under the skin! As well as in our souls! The story of Penny Dreadful is a story of awareness of what went on from the 1920s (if not before) and onwards and even until the present day! As strange as it seems the person who is writing this post is one of the rare people who accepts people, not matter where they came from of the colour of there skin or religion! And this is done in respect of human kind! So for those who see things one way with these storylines! Try and look at things for someone else perspective! And not pin bias towards people,actors etc! Just because of a story on TV! Ps l am desperately trying not to mention anything about the current politics of the US and UK! But all l will say is two leaders of two countries and both are idiots and stupid and lost touch with their countries issues and have lost the plot regarding world politics! I am only wishing the a new president of the U.S and new Prime Minister is put in place of the current ones and get things sorted a repaired in the current covid unpleasant environment ! One last few words...EVERYONE WHERE A MASK AND BE SAFE RATHER THAN SORRY! If you value your lives! Ware a mask!! Got it!
