Wandering Souls is a breathtaking minute by minute documentary of the creation of Bangsokol, A Requiem for Cambodia, a project that required the intimate collaboration of film-maker Rithy Panh and composer Him Sophy and a multi-national creative artistic ensemble. It provides insights into the world of Bangsokol, that makes seeing a performance all the more meaningful especially for a western audience not intimately familiar with the history and culture of Cambodia.
