It wasn’t anything like church camp, and was a complete High School Musical spinoff, from the glances that Will has (seems like he studied zac efron’s solos) to the garden scene. There was no chemistry between the characters and the main character Avery didn’t have my favorite singing voice. The plot had many holes such as Will being a foster child and his only punishment was a church camp for one week with a foster family. I loved my church camp and this didn’t do it justice. I think this would be okay for kids but it definitely doesn’t deal with mature christian themes and the premise has already been done a million times.
