The start of season 1 is very intense as it shows 5 major villains escaping from prison and you thought it's going to be a good storyline with great fights. As the episodes unfold, more characters are introduced without much character development. It doesn't follow the story of Baki well. Instead, the whole plot is in a mess jumping from character to character, although some characters they attempt to explain their background in depth. The fights always end up with no clear winners and going for rematches. Twists and turns here and there. The plot is very divergent and there is no main one. Random matches and I find it very confusing as to what this anime is about. I personally don't recommend it. Give up at season 2 episode 5.
