I love the show!! However my boyfriend is LIVID at how far the show strays from the books to the point of " Did the show writers even read the books?!!?!?!" being shout out continously ;.For example; Butchering Matts character , Lack of explanation about what it means that the unbreakable seal broke.. Perins unnecessary wife, Moraine increase in age, The absurd indication that the dragon may be a girl ( because the dragon CANNOT be a girl) etc.. If you read the books and are hoping to see your fav story brought to life page by page .. this is not for you. If you loved the books and want to see another similar and yet different version of the story play out.. this is for you. quite frankly I like it a lot . Has great visuals, the story line has SO much potential and while the acting is a little novice at times, some charactes do better than others.. I cant wait to see how it plays out.looking forward to the future.
