One of the absolute best Sci-fi horror games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. Please dear God give this treatment to the whole series! THIS is how you do a remake.

Doesn’t deserve the hate. Its only mistake was coming out in a time when the gaming community has become jaded, toxic and over-demanding. Loved this title, full stop. Would be so psyched to see more in this franchise.

If you are not extensively immersed in Halos lore and have read a decent amount of the books or listened to the Hunt the Truth YouTube audio drama and don’t have a decent imagination of your own to fill in the gaps which are all eventually addressed IN THE LORE, you will dislike the campaign most likely. And as you should. It’s your own fault that you tried to play the series without reading into the broader Halo universe at large. That you didn’t delve into the massive, beautiful universe that they have created. This is a game for the true hard-core nerd fans of the story. Is it perfect? No. But it’s a damn sight better than all of these poor me, spoonfeed the whole story to me daddy ratings it’s received.

Everything magical I loved in my childhood about the first 3 halo games and their story Was captured beautifully by this masterpiece. It’s not absolutely perfect, but my God are there beauty in the imperfections, And it’s damn closer to perfect that I thought was possible again for Halo in a long time. Outstanding job for 343.
