Tolkien wrote this book back in 1937, as a children fantasy novel which remain highly acclaimed and is recognized as classic in children literature.

Bilbo Baggins, The protagonist of our story, is a Hobbit. Who likes to live in the comfort of his hole. He hates the idea of going on adventures and prefer the peaceful environment of his home.
Until one day Gandalf, the wizard ends up on his door making him join Thorin Oakenshield (the dwarf) and his companions, on an expedition to take the treasures that a dragon called Smaug was guarding.
Hobbit rejected the idea at first but, endsup going on this unlikely adventurous journey, which changes his life forever. He gets to find a new side of him yet, staying true to his morals.
The book unfolds the journey of Hobbit with Thorin and company, where they get to meet human, elves, goblins and other interesting creatures.
Tolkien has beautifully penned down the journey which can transport the reader in a world of fiction and fantasy. The book also contains beautiful illustrations and the road map to the lonely mountain which also helps as a guide while reading.
