Awful racially charged movie. This movie is further accepting and projecting white hate and racism. It's not a matter of someone not getting it or they feeling guilt, this movie is made to charge and fuel hate towards a particular race. No history lesson, no "to teach your own" this movie praises hate and puts people of color into a scope of feeling victimized which is already an unhealthy mindset people grow into. Love a scary movie but this was not it, and does not deserve praise. Not hating on the efforts of the movie, what I do not like is what is projects. Use your heads. And to top it off Candyman protects black people and only kills white people. Could have been an awesome movie but was sadly ruined by too many intentionally forced scenes to please an ego.
