Saw the movie last night. I feel that Jennifer Hudson embodied her roll as Areatha Franklin. The music was inspiring well performed from the heart and soul of Jennifer and her background singers. It’s a Grammy winning performance as well as Academy award worthy. Being born and raised in the Motor City and listening to her music especially her Album Amazing Grace which my mother and I played (a lot) I feel Ms. Franklin picked the right person for the role. It was tastefully done. Who knew Marlon Wayans was so talented he owned that roll Well Done I would gladly pay to see it again
