“All Is True” is a thoughtful and sensitive work, containing some historical facts, some fiction, which have been masterfully intertwined, controlled and directed by Branagh and beautifully acted by the entire cast, of course most especially by Branagh and Dench. Having started to watch it purely out of idle curiosity, I felt compelled to see it to its conclusion; beautifully written, employing language of the age, as well as contemporary dialogue, the range of emotions, subtly and gently explored, together drew me in to a history, hitherto unexplored.
