I've enjoyed what I've seen so far. WW2 was the global event where ordinary men and women became heroes. These people didn't think about self sacrifice, they just did whatever it took. I have tremendous respect for that generation. My Dad fought in the Pacific during WW2. He never considered himself a hero, even though he did heroic things.

I wonder if people will remember most writers take artistic license with the story and characters. Usually the viewer just accepts the story as fact, like Oliver Stones movie JFK. The story takes some liberties with Martha Mitchell. But, I wasn't there , so who can say what's true.
The production is very entertaining and portrayed the early seventies pretty well. I was a child, but I remember the seventies. Great acting by Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. He is completely unrecognizable in make up as John Mitchell. It's worth investing time to be watch.

I was reading some of the previous comments. This is supposed to be entertainment, not historical fact nor some Games of Thrones fantasy. How about just watching to be entertained?
