I love how the twist of the story developed. Rebecca is soon revealed as a selfish manipulative lady that even in her death she wants people to suffer (I know people like that in my life and thank goodness I am not connected with them anymore) so I can really relate. As for Max, he could have showered his new wife more attention and always keep her beside her rather than delegating her to some shady character. And her insecurity wouldn't have grown if from the start he told her that he actually disdain her. Instead he played the part of a grieving widow. If the new lady is not that mentally strong she could have been swallowed up alive by these wrong notions. As for Mrs Denver and Favell, rats like them exist in this world. Favell is so much of a disgusting character,a low life who don't deserve oxygen. Sorry for the rant.
