The bar was so low and this still didn't measure up. I approached this film with an open mind and a cautious amount of optimism, but so many things help it to fall short. I really think it would have had a better chance as a series. If you're going to go to such lengths to make a live-action movie of a video game, why bother to make the changes they did? Removing characters altogether and altering plot-lines was a bad move for starters. The whole thing felt really low-budget throughout, too. It also seemed like they could have used some more time in post. My biggest gripe of all is that these were the worst zombies I've ever seen in any medium.
