This show is great, lots of people have been saying that it's too "political" and whatnot, but it's important to include gay characters and it gets dark at times because that's how it was back then, really bad things happened. Anyways, I love this show, I read the books in middle school and recently watched the 1985 movie and I think Anne with an e is closer to the books storytelling wise thab the 1985 movie.
