Really did not enjoy this book. First of all, it is written in the present tense. Without conversation punctuation and in so much detail... I really did not care about the colour of the ceiling... Safe time and choose something else. I don't understand why it was the winner of the 2018 costa novel award. This was one of the worst booms I have read in a while...
