What happened to this show? Season 1 was on its way to a British version of "The Wire" subsequently season 2 lost the authenticity that made its predecessor so unique. If you like arbitrary conflicts erupting suddenly and uselessly than season 2 is for you.

One of the Best shows I've ever watched! Do not waste your time with Vikings in which the writing and acting become laughable. The last Kingdom is on another level from all aspects!
