Fabulous. This movie is gloriously and refreshingly more Disney than Burton. Especially rich are the aesthetic arenas such as Colleen Atwood’s ingenious costumes and a myriad of vintage circus decor. Brilliant actors, every single one, whose performances attested to a strong directorial hand that put everyone in the same movie page.
