I really don’t understand why people hate it so much - in actual fact I do - most people who went to watch it probably expected a normal feel-good film without the knowledge of its theatrical origins (or its theatrical nature), but no, they got Cats. Cats is dark, weird and insightful like most good musicals. To think people are blind to how amazing the movie pulled the production off is utterly fatuous. Cats was AMAZING in every aspect and only recieves such hatred due to (and I hate to say it), the small minds of the general public
