I was worried it was going to ruin the animated version BUT IT DIDNT!!! It ties everything from the animated version into this one with a great big bow! The soundtrack is OUTRAGEOUSLY PERFECT not to mention ALL the actresses and actors- the fashion, the cinematography, the careful thought that the writers put into to every detail- and I love Anita Darling and Roger- Horace and Jasper- WOW!
