We saw this movie in the AMC theater in Destin FL. The Sunday matinee at 1230pm had six people in the theater. Not knowing what to expect, we were absolutely delighted. I cannot remember a movie where we laughed out loud so much. We laughed from the beginning to the end. The sequence with the dinner where Matt plays a clumsy waiter was comic genius. At the level of dare I say it Woody Allen during his heyday in the 70s. I will also say the scene with the White Fragility author was cringe worthy. Her rummaging through her purse for a reparations payout to the black crew member was totally embarrassing. If anything illustrated the pomposity and self-importance of these self-appointed race hustlers, this scene did exactly that. Bravo, Matt. Am I Racist comes highly recommended.
