Enjoyable enough but it would have been better if it had been grittier. The plot set ups were often too transparent and convenient and just served to move the story along. There was clearly a no nudity clause with the show - I’m not saying I necessarily support nudity in shows, but it can serve well when warranted and not exploited - but in this show, the appearance of underwear in scenes where it shouldn’t be worn was jarring and became a bit laughable e.g. woman hurriedly gets out of bath to answer door, puts on dressing gown, fine - but also takes time to dry off and puts on bra and pants. I think the chap at the door would have given up and left at that point! Plus, the killer was called ‘the undresser’ but he clearly managed for victims to protect their modesty. So all a bit PG 13.

I wanted to like this but overall it seemed poorly edited and acted. Choppy scenes, choppy dialogue with no real development of characters and no real flow. Performances actually felt pretty amateurish…well Farrell was sound enough but overall if there was meant to be tension or suspense then it was severely lacking. His sudden appearance on crutches with the gun just seemed a bit laughable at that point. And everything was so dark! I wanted to yell, put a light on or open the curtains!! All a bit dull really. I was expecting some final twist at the end but even that didn’t happen. It just ended.

What an appallingly bad movie. Choppy disconnected scenes. No opportunity to connect with any characters because it’s, switch onto the next scene. Poor script, poor direction. Why did the actors sign up to this? I don’t understand. It’s just embarrassing. And then it just ended. Like cut, wrap, that’ll do. I understand why I’d avoided it all these years but sadly was subjected to it at my parent’s house. Truly grim.
