15 minutes in and bored slready. Poor CGI and straight into action without any story or character building. Snooze..

Great cinematography and acting but I lost interest when the plot began to stretch beyond the realm of possibility. I know it’s a movie, a story, and entertainment but when you’re thinking “oh come on, really??” then you become detached from the whole thing.

Don’t know why it gets such a low score on rotten tomatoes. I always like Simon pegg movies - he’s a really good comedic actor and this is a fun (adult) coming of age movie with some sweet moments. The supporting actors are also great and the kid’s really cute too. It’s all a bit of fun and an enjoyable watch.

Disjointed scenes which makes you switch off pretty quickly. Don’t production companies know how to make movies any more? A good script and character development is key. Scenes might be shot nicely - yes, well done Tim, but without a coherent storyline it’s meaningless. I’m hoping one day movies will improve!

Dull - lots of exposition and talk, talk, talk. Nothing to pull you in and care about the characters. Switched off.

Oh dear - cringe fest. Poor script, direction and acting. Props to Lohan for getting things together and having a stab at acting again but…this was very, very poor

Zoned out during episode 1. Couldn’t hear the dialogue very well. I could see the actors ‘acting’, it all seemed a bit confusing and pretentious. A no for me

Enjoyable enough but it would have been better if it had been grittier. The plot set ups were often too transparent and convenient and just served to move the story along. There was clearly a no nudity clause with the show - I’m not saying I necessarily support nudity in shows, but it can serve well when warranted and not exploited - but in this show, the appearance of underwear in scenes where it shouldn’t be worn was jarring and became a bit laughable e.g. woman hurriedly gets out of bath to answer door, puts on dressing gown, fine - but also takes time to dry off and puts on bra and pants. I think the chap at the door would have given up and left at that point! Plus, the killer was called ‘the undresser’ but he clearly managed for victims to protect their modesty. So all a bit PG 13.

You might find it enjoyable if you can suspend belief big time, and if you like a bit of farce. I was expecting more from Bateman and McAdams, but sadly no. The highlight was Jesse Plemons.
