5 months ago It's a spin-off of TVD and just like TVD it started brilliantlly. Everything from the plot to the acting was quite good. But like TVD it meandered into stupidity. The plot got too complicated and jumbled. It turned repetitive. It's like the writers lost all passion for the series. Season 5 was such a disappointment I have no words. Killing off characters just for shock value and pointless plot twists and rivalries. After season 3 it was a damn mess. As someone who has been following TVD and then TO for 7 years these shows have gone from my favorites to the worst ever. It seems as if the writers turned seriously challenged in the creativity department after the first few seasons of the shows. I wouldn't suggest anyone to watch it because if you get invested into the shows like me you won't be able to live with the utter dissapointment it turns into in the end. It's enraging to say the least. It's torture to see something you liked so much to turn into a proper mess that just makes you cringe.
