I really don't get it. How do companies succumb to the pressure of widening the audience by sacrificing game play experience. I am sure there were pressures to grow the audience due to general costs to develop a game and get a decent ROI, but how can you take a successful game that was meant for racing sim fans and then completely undo it for fans that like arcade versions and completely disenfranchise the very group you started with, that made you successful? People who lead this company...this message is for you. How does something like this happen? When you meet to discuss how to make the game better for sim fans, and then grow the audience, do you not conduct an analysis to show what made the game successful and how to capitalize on it's success. I don't know...perhaps it must have been a timing issue and couldn't get everything in on time. Hopefully there are lessons learned here and improvements are made for Project Cars 4.
