If I could give this drama more than 5 stars, I would...the BEST drama I have ever watched, and probably will ever watch. This story is about 5 families living in a small nook in olden Korea, when times were rougher. Their lives are filled with humor, sorrow, joy, love, and everything in between. So far, I have watched and rewatched Reply 1988 4 times, and I don't plan on stopping now or ever. The way the writers, actors, and cinematography, and everyone who worked on this drama, all amazingly put together this truly heartwarming and tearful masterpiece is beyond me. Every single time I have watched this drama from beginning to end, I have fallen more and more in love with all the characters and their unique traits and personalities. There were so so many tear-jerking moments where I deeply felt and connected with the story...I will never find another drama that can beautifully depict all the struggles and warmth that comes with family and relationships. I am not someone that writes reviews ever, but I felt that this specific drama was so meaningful and touching to me. It changed my outlook positively on many aspects, and I greatly admire this drama. Please, I promise you, watch this drama. It will be an amazing experience.
