Honestly, this movie exceeded my expectations. Is it better then the original? No. Although the directors did try their best to reinvent the storyline and portray the recent trends in cheesy teen media culture. Addison's acting was not terrible but was still pretty uncomfortable to watch (as was expected). The worst scenes were when she was handing out fake fliers and the razor sounds while 'shaving' Tanners stubble with a epilator. The remaining storyline and acting performed by the rest of the cast kinda balanced things out and was fine for a overdramatic teen movie.

Since I have been in lockdown for the last 7 weeks, I decided to watch for the first time all of the OG GG series, and I've gotta say that this reboot show is lowkey a bit disappointing. Although I have only watched 4 episodes it misses the witty humor/insults and elegantly arrogant chaos depicted in the OG. Also, I'm don't really understand why they had to involve the teachers, it's made the show's storyline kinda annoying. What I loved about the OG GG was the ambiguity of GG's intentions and who she was to both the main characters and the audience. The loss of this crucial aspect and replacing it with teachers acting immaturely is a loss for me.
