As an aspiring actress and filmmaker, I absolutely HATE it when the audience thinks the film was 'bad' because 1. People spent so much time and effort into the film and all you can do is hate on it and also 2. I really wanna see YOU try make a film like that like honestly. So this film I was extremely excited about because it looked so magical and mesmerizing and don't get me wrong, it really was! The cinematography was absolutely incredible like every Disney movie. Mackenzie Foy is an amazing actress and I truly do admire her, but her character and the way she was portrayed was quite strange but that's okay! Other actors COULD have acted a little bit better but I'm not going to judge. Like I said, I'm no professional actor myself and neither are any other critics. It takes a lot of courage and skill to become an actor I know that. The storyline is simple and it was quite predictable but hey, that's fine too. Overall, I reckon this would be a perfect film for those who just want something easy and relaxing to watch I guess. But for those who are passionate about film will find it a little disappointing, but we aren't the ones up there so :)
