Mechanics and animations are generally better compared to previous seasons. The learning curve is way to steep for me, personally but that's not what impacted this rating.
My biggest problem is majority of this game feels built around the my player aspect. While I've played my player before, this has felt way more grindy and pay to win. While that is fair and comparable to the real league, I personally do not enjoy the Smush Parker life simulator.
my first few hours in the game consisted of me waiting through countless cutscenes and watching games from the bench which was proceeded by still more cutscenes. the only thing that could make this an even more tedious experience is an in game event where I am required to fill out my taxes, which will undoubtedly be in the next release of 2k
