I began watching the CBS morning show several years ago because it seemed to be the best for hard news versus fluff. Since the new lineup started this year, there are more and more advertisements and less news. Also an increase non news articles.
I am watching a tape of this morning’s shelf and there was 20 minutes of news followed by 11 minutes of local news advertising and discussing what was going to be discussed in the next half hour. Then we had to watch an overview of the last 20 minutes of news and hear again what we were going to see after the next ads.
Very disappointing content. Also, I don’t think it’s necessary to hear Gayle King’s personal opinion of each new story.
