There is a familial connection between Phryne & Peregrine, but the setting (time-wise) is totally different. There are many differences due to that fact, but this show stands well on its own. The chemistry between the actors is great. The 60's era fashions, houses, cars, etc., are all fun. And Geraldine Hakewell is delightful as Peregrine, very bubbly, happy-go-lucky, caring and she has an innocence that is fresh.
