I took an Indian cooking class years ago and remember the teacher explaining that women in India often spend all day cooking. This movie depicts that reality. The actors conveyed their roles wonderfully. My husband was working and watching it absent-mindedly. The next day he was all over in the kitchen telling me he didn't want me to feel like a slave. Great movie; inspired gratitude from my family!
