Lazy storytelling. Barely anything makes sense. Rushed. Poor dialogue. Forced plot points. Not enough Luke Skywalker. Characters constantly do and say things that do not fit in the constraints of reason and logic. Premise is fairly interesting with Palpatine until you find out there is no good reason for him to not still be ruling the galaxy since ROTJ and that he has no realistic or logical reason to need Rey or Kylo for anything, but somehow the entire movie circles around this and the audience is supposed to just go along with it because, well JJ said so.
