Considering the ratings on rotten tomatoes and of course the imdb, I fell really short of any high expectations for this one but turns out I really enjoyed this movie. I love Western and to see them make a spoof on that it does sound very relatable. You could call this a dark comedy to some extent. Also a lot of fluid and scatological humor here. It's a slapstick crude comedy with a lot of puns that hit you straight. Talking about the cast, the cast was ensemble with so many famous actors each playing their part well. Seth was on a roll writing, directing and producing the film. He is a brilliant storyteller and a guy with a great sense of humor. This movie is underrated and I am probably a guy with an unpopular opinion stating that this movie was really good. Watched a R rated good comedy film after a really long time.

A realistic social drama film that's so gripping and horrific that it does not allow you to gulp saliva down your throat. Direction, script, music everything is top notch. But the biggest strength of the film is its leading lady who is outstanding in the film. From the scenes you can see her lying frail on the bed to the scenes where she emotes only through her eyes, Deepika Padukone commands every frame. It's not a performance she is that good in the film. Vikrant Massey is brilliant in the film along with other actors who have also done a good job. In short, Chhapaak is not a biopic, it's something beyond that. It's a gripping strong message to the society. It's a powerfully driven social film about the acid attack survivors and its leading lady is in a top form. Please watch it.

Its kind of makes its own space in animation genre... Yet so different from others maintaining that buzz, the light hearted fun loving characters and gives a sweet message at the end... The best thing about sing is therr are no protagonists in the film... Everyone has dreams and they achieve it from one singing competition....
