Ad Astra is a shining example of what absolute tripe is produced when a film that is set in space fails to give even a modicum of thought to the actual science and physics of the situation. There were glaring mistakes in every phase of the movie from the first scene to his voyage home.
Compounding this was an abysmal story, a voice over that sounded more like a two hour cologne ad than a feature film, inconsistent characters, pointless "action" moments which added nothing except to highlight how desperate they were to add something of interest to a pitiful film.
Don't go see this. Don't rent this. Don't pirate this. If it comes on TV, change the channel.
