I love all these books! They are so well-paced and detail oriented! the characters and world building were done skilfully and creatively. I literally laughed out loud at some parts and that is quite impressive! Mind you the whole series does not go without its sad moments, and I also had tears come to my eyes during the journey through this series. Double thumbs-up to Jennifer Neilsen for once again providing us with a great read!

OMG I loved this book! Was written so vividly and the characters were on point. The whole storyline feels like a Lord of the Rings/How to Train Your Dragon medley and yet it was still unique. Also the logic, like how the magic works, was so well explained. From a writers perspective, I know how hard it is to make sure there's no loopholes in your explanations. This book did a wonderful job of losing all those loopholes, so bravo! Movie did not do the book justice, as it normally is with movies based from books but was still worth watching.

Very good and quite reflective on the racism situation, even back then this book can be a good example for how we live our lives and treat each other today.
