I expected this book to give more of an insight on latino/chicano culture in the late 50's and early 60's, but this book is so sloppily written with terrible grammar, and very difficult to follow. I had to FORCE myself to even get through it and I LOVE reading. Save yourself the time and money of putting yourself through the excruciating pain of reading this book.
