my friends and I have been watching since season one. We were hopeful, based on the quality of the new judges, that this would be a great season. It has, however, turned out to be a lecture in DEI and woke culture. We thought dancers were selected on their ability to dance. Not on their "sob story" or how many boxes they check. An example: how is the girl in the wheel chair going to partner in ballroom? The heavy girl with the dying sister has much less technical ability than 3 girls sent home that same episode. The boy with the heels and in the dress, although okay dancers, were not as good as some sent home already. Although most of us are from the LGBTQ community, we would rather get our lectures from CNN or MSNBC, not from a dance competition. We all agreed to go back to watching NCIS on CBS that night.
