A real character study. Brilliantly acted, and intriguing.

Loved it and still love it. Very intelligent, intriguing and spell binding. Lots of action. Great dialogue and great character analysis. A top quality series. Too bad it ended - but all good things come to an end.

I am fascinated by it. It is very tragic and yet opens our eyes to the social fabric of society at that time. The acting is superb and as always Sean Bean is the best, along with Helen Hunt and all the other actors as well. That story shows what happens to every day people when their world is turned upside down, and the survival of many who maybe couldn't think past each day, just the moment they were living in.
