I love the trilogy and read it three times. There are some changes to the sequencing in this series which l have read some people don’t like. However for clarity of the story line and to compress it into eight episodes, this works. Characterization is masterful! Setting and cinematography are superb. Lyra is perfect. Boreal and Mrs Coulter embody evil! The daemons are so gorgeous. Bring a box of tissues to watch this. I shed so many tears... this is brilliant HBO. Please make series 2!!
