6/10 ...besides animation being really good nothing else stood out from this movie...being colombian and watching this movie felts so disappointing because how you gon fail so much at making a movie about characters from a specific nationality but there was just the bare minimum of the culture from that country in it...the plot was so weak like i was so excited when the first poster came out like a year ago because i thought after coco this might become my favorite movie and i was a little scary about the outcome cause the movie was going to be produced and directed by disney people and indeed it was a total failure..and i feel like disney is just bad at making movies about other cultures when pixar is actually doing a good job in it..so in my opinion this project should have been handed to pixar instead cause im sure they would have squeezed the sht out colombian culture and put it out there not just visually but also plot wise

watched the movie for Andrew garfield, end up falling in love with the quality of the film, plot wise and mainly style wise. loving the film noir from the 50s essence in it so much which is so perfectly done, the soundtrack? BRILLIANT must say my favorite part of the entire production. love how it how the storyline follows some kind of line structure but at the same time it doesnt which made it so entertaining, it keep the thrill of wondering what was gonna happen in the next frame. i wish i could find its negative points but i really cannot, it reflected what it wanted to show
