I thought this movie was better than what the critics would have you believe. Maybe it's watching this during COVID-19; but I found the movie to almost be a meditation, and it redeems itself in the end. It takes on heavy subject matter, but, as the great Oscar Wilde said, "Life is far too important to be taken seriously". If you are in the mood for a slower paced, psychological/symbolic/spiritual film, give this one a try.
